Today, we have an eye health related question for you.
Q: What are my eyes bloodshot in the morning?
A: Because our eyes stop making tears (the type that lubricate your eyes when you’re awake) as you sleep, you can experience higher levels of dryness in your eyes when you wake up. Additionally, if your eyelids aren’t completely closed as you snooze, this could be another cause of bloodshot eyes in the morning.
