Valentine’s Day is tomorrow, Wise Family Eye fans.

We want you to be able to give the ‘look” of love not only tomorrow, but that so you are able to for the foreSEEable future.

There are so many things you’ll want to be able to see.

Watching your significant other’s face when they’re unwrapping a surprise gift.

Perhaps watching your children devour some candy hearts.

No matter what it is – there are so many things you’ll want to be able to see.

And that means keeping your eyes healthy.

Today, we’d like to share the following tips that will help you do so:

  • Be sure to check in with your ophthalmologist annually. In most cases, you won’t notice your vision deteriorating until it becomes a serious issue. Many serious vision concerns can be detected with an annual exam. Love yourself and your families enough to make an appointment.
  • Stare in the eyes of your loved one, not into your digital device. While it may sound corny, taking a day break from all of your “smart” devices can save you from suffering from significant eye strain. So go ahead and stare longingly into your loved one’s eyes. It could save your vision!
  • Forget the chocolate and purchase some cool sunglasses instead. Sweets are gone too soon, but a pair of cool shades provide vital protection from UVA and UVB rays for your eyes- especially as Spring and Summer approach.

This Valentine’s Day, and each one that is to follow, remember to keep your eyes and vision healthy – so you can have the look of love for those you care about for many years to come.
