Today, we have an eye-health related question for you:

Q: What are some of the risks for eye injuries when I am outdoors?

A: As summer, officially, will be upon us in a few short weeks, people spend more time outdoors mowing the lawn, trimming the hedges and gardening. These activities, however, also come with a risk of eye injury.

In order to avoid injury to your eyes,  the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Ocular Trauma now recommend that every household have at least one pair of ANSI-approved protective eyewear for use during these ad other activities.

Flying debris is a large cause of eye injury. You can protect yours very easily.
